St. Andrew's, Mutford

We held our first service since the lockdown on 9th August 2020.  A bit of a strange service with no singing and with 10 people sitting zig-zag on the old pews.  A lovely meditative service along traditional lines based on Morning Prayer , with recorded polyphonic singing at intervals.

We hope to hold more services subject to getting an officiating minister and will update this site when that happens.

It will not be the usual service of morning prayer as masks have to be worn, books cannot be used and there will be no singing.  Within the church,  social distancing will be required between households or social 'bubbles' and members of the congregation will need to sign in on entry to comply with the Government requirements for 'Contact & Trace'.  These records will be held for a period of 21 days and then destroyed.  Hand santitizer is available at the entrance and all people will be asked to use it.

The service will be traditonal in style.

We can probably seat around 20 people as individuals and possibly more if households attend.
